This type of scene always tempts me to capture it. I love the play between light and shadow, especially when it's dramatic.
This image was captured on December 21, 2005, around 11:30am, using an Olympus Camedia C-700UZ digital camera.

That is really cool. What kind of trees are those that they're all tangled together like that? The shadow play is real cool. Makes the tree look even more tangled then it is.

Branches reaching toward the sky...looks like oak trees? This is the kind of stuff i have been noticing and loving since i was a kid--and most around me just took for granted and thought of as firewood/lumber but little more than that!
