Description
No story this time. This was a picture that has given me a lot of trouble. For one thing, the file size was close to 1GB!--can you believe it? So I ended up having to render it in parts and then paste it all together in Paint Shop Pro. Know the skimmer and rider should be softened by atmosphere, but adding a volumetric atmosphere just wasn't an option. Also some experimenting revealed that everything else in the picture would practically disappear. Not totally happy with this picture, but it is as good as it is likely to get at this stage of my 3d graphics ability.
