Description
These woods are located in the Umpqua National Forest, in the Cascade Mountains of central Oregon.
This image was captured just moments before I took "Mineral Creek," which can be seen in my gallery (for those whom have not visited it).
The shot was taken using an Olympus Camedia C-700UZ digital camera.

I love hiking up in there. The area is beautiful. My sister is coming here from Boston next summer and I plan on taking her and her family all through there to the various falls on up to Diamond / Crater Lake.
