Description
Located on the Outer Banks of Dare County in North Carolina - the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is the tallest brick lighthouse in North America, standing at a height of 208 feet.
The building was erected between 1869-1870 to mark Diamond Shoals, replacing the original structure that was built there in 1802.
These images were captured on December 11, 2004, using an Olympus Camedia C-700UZ digital Camera.
