Description
"Negligence is the rust of the soul,
that corrodes through all her best resolves."
--Owen Feltham
The rusting metal and peeling paint of number 900 here caught my eye. Though hard to see at this size, the many tiny cracks seem almost endless. If there is interest, perhaps I could zoom in on specific section to show it better. This is the full frame, shown at 23% of the original size. Happy hump day! ----- Thanks for your studly comments on my upload yesterday, Rust Bumps II.

Really effective image. Yes, I would like to see a zoom. I like the comment that goes with it too.

And here I thought it was a parody! "My 900th image"..LOL! Again, fabulous textures, next time I need a little rust, your my man! Hey I feel like listening to a little Neil Young & Crazy Horse, wonder why?....
Great texture & text find ~ would be a great print.
Stray thought #1-- "What a testimonial to the rust-resisting power of that green paint." Stray thought #2-- "Of all of TwoPynts' work, why do I think THIS is the one that the museum director would choose fopr exhibition?"

What an interesting story could tould that rusty metal ! Terrific shot!
He he, it's just like fractals, zooming in will reveal more stunning details that bear some similarity to the peeling structures we see here! Your thumbnail made me think of a birch with a number but this is quite different! Wonderful capture of this squared 30! :)
