Well, I must say is definitely a dramatic image and conveys a deep sense of hidden bitterness and regret. As mentioned above, the level of detail you obtain is simply remarkable and I was looking at this image for quite some time taking it all in! Christmas can be a sad time of the year for many, especially for those who have lost loved ones in their thoughts during this season. In a lot of ways to me, this captures that feeling very well. Excellent work!!

I should have known, Scrooge is a "cat person!" :-) I love the fine way you've composed the holiday themed image ... nice atmospheric image and so well composed and lighted. V

Of course Gene! Cats don't need as much attention as dogs and Scrooge has no time for anyone or anything. He can't even be bothered to feed the poor thing. You can't see from the angle but I made the cat very thin :)
