Excellent shot ...how did you get so close?
Good :-)
a beautifull pic!
This makes my desktop, Rita. Years ago, with my daughter, I almost stumbled over a baby deer, hiding, in long grass, close to an old footpath in the grounds of Balloch Castle. This is on the south banks of Loch Lomond, north and west of Glasgow. Unfortunately I had no camera with me ( and no time to take a shot ). We felt privileged to see it. Prayers and Regards, John.
Excellent work. Around here, they spook so easily, I have never been able to get a picture of one.

Interesting view of this protected animal: inside a fence and in the shadow of the trees-trunk. Nice expression with 'your' frame. Excellsius!
It's a long time since I went rutting Rita LOL. Marvelous shot!!!
He certainly is a majestic buck. I suppose he has love on his mind and doesn't care for interlopers too much, though. :-) Beautiful photo. Excellent work. V
