I created the screw in Wings3D and then it was inported into Bryce 5.0... Here I added the Textuer and the block of wood...

Good modeling and texturing
Nifty looking furniture screw. Now making a proper machine screw is a trickier challenge. Note that starting with a 20 sided cylinder makes putting the slot on the end face easier. Keep it up!

Very nice model and render. The threads on these babies look more like they are designed for plastic or fibre composition board, though. (Sorry, that's what happens when one's father is a mechanical engineer; it just rubs off, I'm afraid.)
