Castlemaine Perkins will begin a campaign to return Mr Fourex to 'thirst man in Queensland' status.
The dapper little man, sporting a full black suit, yellow XXXX boater hat and raised glass, will feature in billboard advertising for the first time sence 1967. He will urge Queenslanders, 'My friends, you will find no finer brew than Fourex'
Castlemaine Perkins regional director Mark Powell said the company reinstated Mr Fourex because of popular demand. 'Mr Fourex has been a symbol for many years. He sums up a lot about Queensland and Queenslanders - he's a bit of a larrikin but alkso an man of the people'.
