Description
Alright Mark, you asked for it and here it is, after 40+ hours of rendering, which did not complete over the weekend before I had to shut down to go to work this morning, so I also had to spend a couple of hours tonight finishing the anti-aliasing by hand in Photoshop (how's that for a run-on sentence). I hope it's worth it! LOL. I think it is. :-)
Thanks for all the great comments on the original everyone.

Top POV and modelling dude...your chrome tex ROCKS !!! Cheer's :o)
Vue can yield some incredible results indeed, and my average render times vary between 15-149 hours; the average being about 40 hours. Not really a shocking number to me at least, as this image really sparkles with the detail of realistic shiny chrome and all the intricate parts of this fantastic model! This truly came out superb, and probably even more daunting is the fact of smoothing everything by hand! The materials are simply stunning and the close up view really dazzles the eyes! Very impressive work, and if it weren't for the fear of falling off, I'd love to give this baby a spin around the block! LOL! Outstanding work, George!
Gorgeous textures and lighting here to! Bravo George!
You lovely man. :-) Thank you so much. That is simple amazing. The chrome is stunning. The covers on the peg bars look good close up too. Wow.
