These "Cogwheel" pieces are very classic modern in their style. This one also reminds me of Kandinsky, but also perhaps a very abstract Klee as well. Your sensibility takes you rich and satisfying images. My comparison of your work to these artists is certainly meant as a compliment, but I see it as your having tapped into a similar visual discovery as they did. It is a discovery as much as it is a creation in both cases. Keep it up!
