I've seen lots of jellyfish around the island but, I've never seen one shaped like this? I thought it was interesting, I hope you do too! enjoy please...

Never....Wow what a find.Just right for you to stick your hand in.Maybe it is mimicking a starfish for some unsuspecting prey.

It's doing it's fancy fruit punch bowl impression. Just need ice and a cup.:) I saw a lot of dark red almost purple jellyfish off the california coast this summer 3 to 12 inches in diameter, hundreds of em. But this looks like it has a clear exterior, different than what I saw. Nice shot. Now I wish I had taken a picture.
