Description
This is the main part of a much larger sketch I drew back in '97. I plan on recreating it now to see how different I approach things. Back then I went to heavy with the pencil (that's why this is so dark) and I had little understanding of anatomy. Hopefully I've improved bu tI'll let you be the judge in a few days.

By the way, I encourage you to zoom in on the sword, belt and kilt. The patterns there will also be re-worked....

very cool. I think the muscle definition is good, if not heavy, but the lower abs don't look twisted enough and the legs need a little work.
Well, that's all part of what was wrong with this image. Too much muscle and not enough movement. The new one is coming along pretty well. Thanks again.

love the image anyways man....I'm still having trouble with the human body ( foreshorten mostly )....you've obviously got a talent I wish I had....even half of it would do me fine....great work man....
