*Waving "Hi" to you all from upstate NY*
Hope you are all having a great week so far. We are still having rain here...ugh! I think it has rained every day so far for the month of October except the first weekend! Luckily, I did get a chance that Saturday to snap a few pictures of the leaves before the 40 days and 40 nights of wetness. ;-)
I hope you'll all bear with me while I upload a few of my favorites. :-)
Taken in upstate New York with my Pentax Optio MX4, postwork done in Paint Shop Pro 9.01.
Dedicating this one to my good friend Marlene; she knows why. ;-)
(((Hugs))) and thanks so much for any comments or advice on how to improve my pics! My goal is to make the Last Week in the Gallery sometime so pleeease be brutally honest. All comments are always so much appreciated! :-)

Beautiful and majestic photograph of one of the loveliest places on earth... (I'm a wee bit prejudiced) Gorgeous and I know how you feel about the rain... yuk, sending you an ark to float on that water once the rain stops...:))))
Awe Maggie, this is brutally great(is that brutally honest enough?) =)..perfect capture of the fall season..love the reflections of the trees..Just a beautiful pic...This deserves a big VOTE...and big daddy hugs...
Always love to see the fall colors!!! Excellent capture and the reflections are perfect!!!! ****;)
totally beautiful awesome view !! WOW ! LOVE the colors!! AWESOME SHOT! V!
Fine image!
so nice and peaceful looking
Maggie...you got a beaut here. I was thinking it may need a bit of cropping at bottom...but then who knows where to do it from. Now I like those reeds in there. I think Marlene will really like these reflections, and serenity of it.
What a "brutally" peaceful landscape ! I love the reflections and the wonderful fall colors ! I didn't know there were such places in New York state... I give you the highest ranking, Maggie : excellentissime ! :~)
Beautiful autumn colors and i like very much the reflections in the water! Superb scene Maggie! V :)
2 words: wonderfull and quiet!
Beautiful and still. Lovely. I'll talk to the weatherman and see if he can send someone sunshine your way.
Hi there candy!!! Waves back from the polar cirkle...sigh. This is a stunner of a shot!!! The exposure is dead on!!! I think this is the best shot ive seen from you, at least from a technical point of view. Its absolutely gorgeous and i need to disagree with Doug...i really dont think this needs cropping at all. I like how its mostly water, gives it alot of depth. The only thing i can think of that would improve it in my eyes, are the presentation. Just a minor change...I personally think that the dropshadow is too big and that the outer edge of the photo is a little too thick. All that is of course my personal taste and i know alot of people prefer long drop shadows....just giving you my 4 swedish kronor here. Gorgeous shot my friend, those reflections are simply put...PERFECT! Have a great humpday!!! #:O)
Marvellous nature and autumn image.Nicely done,Maggie.
