Description
Accidentle catch while fishing in Malibu CA.! not a collage or montag-e strait shot just a fly by point and shoot didnt have enough time to focus or relearn my new cam, and ran across from the the pier fast to shoot this . wish it was sharper but it was the best I could come up with in a real hurried attempt!
This Mexican fisher man Accidentaly caught this little dangaling starfish guy on the malibu pier . he was tossed back ..
I had fun making a little face on him, like hes saying "

Excellent composition.
Lol! I can make out your face what a fun image well done :) Cathy xoxoxo
you're so silly, Kimmers!!! LOL! i love that little starfish! this would be wonderful in a storybook!! You write so well, and i love how you made this guy look so cute! the shoreline is gorgeous too! but i was just thinking about how you could take this little starfish and make him a STAR in a childrens' book!!! i've done the same thing before...tried to get a shot when i only had seconds. like that orangutan i posted...well, i had everything set up for infrared shooting...we just ducked in real quick to see him. didn't expect him to jump up and start swingin' around. it was either shoot him in infrared or lose the shots. Anyway, glad you managed to capture him before he got thrown back into the water. This is just DELIGHTFUL and put a huge smile on my face!!!!! thanks!!! :)
Your photo, artwork and story are certainly a great trio. When I look at it I find my shelf unconsciously mimmicking the "facial expression" made by the starfish. LOL! What fun this is!
You can almost see a face in the upper middle, neat shot:):):)...V
A star is born... Excellent story !

A terrific photo, I wish I had time to comment on all your recent ones, but this "star" shone brighter for me, so I thought I'd comment here. You work is so wonderful and creative of late, keep it up. Again, luv those purples. =]
the face reminds me the character that used to be on Saturday Night Live years ago..made of clay that said all the time: "Oh NO...help me Mr Bill...oh NO!!"
