Description
"Now I know why I named Coodle, 'Coodle'! Because of Mister Coodle! He was my first friend. I think. It's all confusing." Toxic took the terry-cloth doll away from her face and stared at it entranced.
Coodle was circling Toxic, trying to figure out why she was excited and upset. The other Panchetta Bugs were stiring around agressivily. 399 looked at Toxic and motioned at 518.
399 said in a whisper to him, "We need to calm HER down. They are... responding to HER. She's happy, THEY'RE happy. Don't know why. They're going to attack, otherwise."
Granny Jin heard 399's whisper and said soothingly to her 'adopted daughter', "Toxic. Focus and calm down! Who gave you 'Mister Coodle'?"
'My mommy. I don't remember her at all. I have one. Had one. I think. Father said I was born in a lab. I'm confused", she finished lamely. She continued. There was a boy. And a girl my age with horns...and no legs. He name was Neesae. Her mommy was white and scary...like a ghost." She closed her eyes as if entranced. "I'm so confused."
Granny Jin laughed warmly and patted Toxic on the back. "She's back to normal. Confused and happy."
Coodle hissed and leapt through the air at the interloper taking his place. His sudden attack took Toxic by suprise as he bit and stung the doll in her grip. She laughed and giggled and nipped him on the back. She grabbed him by the antennas and pried him off laughing, "You little jealous thing! He isn't taking your place! I'm sorry I ignored you! I love you ,too!" She head butted Coodle and dropped the doll. She nuzzled him and giggled as he responded the same.
Granny Jin picked up the doll. A loving Coodle definitly beat an unfeeling ragdoll all the time.
She looked at Toxic as she beamed lovingly at her. At that point she didn't care if Toxic was an abomination, discard, mutant, or clone. She needed and loved. She needed Jin to care for her. Toxic filled a void in Jin's hardened heart. That's all Jin needed to know.
Jin tucked the doll under her arm, trying not to get blood on it and cleared her throat, "We need to find a way out of here. Girl, we'll figure out the mysteries of your birth later on. Just never give up on it, and you might know one day."
The answers could wait for later. They had more pressing problems to deal with.

Media is Poser 6. I like how the doll's terry cloth texture came out! ^__^
