Description
For those of you who are getting 'fixed' on Fuzzies and needing a prescription refill...
This is our Poppitti at about age 6 months. At 7 months he was diagnosed with juvenile lymphoma. He never got to his 8th month. A real pity. This guy was a real sweetheart.
During one routine visit, a vet tech looked him over and said: Very cute, but bratty, I think.
No, very cute - yes. Bratty - never. (That particular pronouncement came true with Rufus.)
Just goes to show that ferrets are little people too. They get the same illnesses and their losses are all out of proportion to their size. We tried chemo and even accupuncture, but he'd had enough.
Well, I didn't mean to sound down like that. We are very glad to have had him, and he showed great promise in becoming a Little Jerk 1st Class. A real thief in the laundry basket... embarrassing at times!
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
