I am the ghost in the shell
Burning in this hell
Of a body that is mine
Yet does not belong to me
I am the ghost in the shell
And only time will tell
How I live and how I fade
I am the ghost in the shell
The angel who fell
Who became disconnected
From the body I rejected

I don't know, I think it's a merging of the movie's name and of my own thoughts, not that it necessarily represents my state of mind.
I mostly wrote it because I needed an introduction to a new version of my online persona.

Wicked. You would rock at doing covers for novels. Have you looked into that? There are people out there who would pay big money for the images that you do for pleasure.

I like it, but your poem doesn't fit...feel right...rhyme...something How about adding something like "For now I am but a shade" or something to the last line of the second verse. Make into a 4 line verse like the others. You're probably gonna flame me for daring to question your creative vision
Truly creepy. The character reminds of a film I worked on, except that particular character was rotting. Nice overall effect!
