Description

From a sketch from a paperback illustration - since lost! Typography made-up. Trying to work the 'expressions' (deci6el and mmitchel). Three Victoria 1's, a low rez Mike, Kozaburo's hair, some Xena and Poserstyle clothes, and some primitives for ropes. Thanks for looking.

Ha! My comments have been pre-empted or pre-vented. Pre-something. I say, "good on ya" for pullin' V1 out of the box. As for expressions, you have some which is always better than not. And you have made some good ones on your two principals and "wine skirt". The girl in the red skirt seems to have an expression that I can't instantly tell what she's thinking but you've set up a nice loop of focus. While most of the focus bounces between girl and guy, "Red" brings the focus back to the leader. And if I was going to project, it would be that she isn't sure about this "man-thing". Or maybe she wants to be the one in the ropes, I don't know. You're on that border between science fiction and Men's Magazine, except that the phallic space ship lurking between their legs probably isn't big enough for that. I always admire your restraint for keeping it simple and resisting clutter. Nice color pallette as always.

I love it! You have captured the spirit of those old time pulp magazines and books perfectly. That would definately be a planet that us guys would love to visit and become prisoners. Cool artwork!
