Description
A squadron of British Hurricanes jump a German general on a twisting, narrow road with nowhere to hide.
Had to make several renders then cut and paste them all together in PSP5. Not entirely happy with the result. Question: would the tracers from the Hurricane's guns appear more white or what color in daylight. After I finished this, I wondered if the glow would be more appropriate to after dark, rather than daylight.

Not too sure about the tracer color either. I do know that in the war movies, you usually only see them strike the ground.
Well, tracers are generally a white color because it is phosphorous coated. Second, the thing about tracers is they aren't loaded uniformly in the guns, so, you would get staggered patterns. Thirdly, guns have a convergence factor, which means, the bullets actually start to come together at some point down the line. Nice start on the image.
The Tracers would definately be white (more glowimg), yes too convergance , no to not uniform, in my army times using tracer ammuniton every third shot was a tracer..and dont let killing Germans get a habit , Kjer...hehe
Well, thanks, guys, for the information. Will try to redo this later to reflect that. No, Manfred, I won't make killing Germans a habit. Remember, I had some German planes attacking an American convoy earlier on. :)

Waow! Well done straffing scene there ! Good dynamic. It seams to B a very important general to shoot in the car... I C it's an historical-like scene & unfortunately, so many people of nearly all nations where killed. Think the general is now preying... Very beautifull sky & littl' hills, Excellent!
