This morning, I awoke at 6:45 and went out to the porch to feed Barnabi - only to discover that the little munchkin wasn't in his box. If you can imagine my terror at the thought of what happened to him or where he ventured off to, considering his eyesight isn't too good. Did something eat him? Is he still on the porch? Is he cold? Hungry? Scared? I went inside and told my mother that we had a problem: the rabbit was gone! No sooner did I mention him, did he come hopping through the door looking for his morning meal. As I'm typing right now, he's asleep in my lap, after having his breakfast. I wonder if he knows that I was in that brief state of terror this morning because of him? If he does, he's not letting on. *laughs* ~*~ This photo is actually one that I took the day after we got him, and he's grown at least an inch or two since then. Still as cute as ever, though.
