About:
------
I got the "Scrappy" robot today (yesterday as I write this) and after a quick play with him decided to use Scrappy in a little scene vignette.
No doubt others will use the guy for all sorts of involved images but I like doing these things instead. :-P
The text on the sign was created by me in Photoshop and was pretty simple to do. I had to 'dirty it up' a little because it looked too clean next to those 44 gallon drumns 'n stuff. - I wanted to include a couple of other items in the scene but spent a LONG frustrating time looking for them both online and in my own CD collection of downloaded stuff to no avail so I decided to finally forget those elements and carry on. I replaced one element with TrekkieGrrrl's nice decrepit newspaper and that instead worked well I thought, especially afterwards using Photoshop I changed the newspaper image map to suit my own little tale. ;-)
The background colour for the desktop version of "Got Oil?" is one I came up with years ago for my Windows document area colour. I find it easy on my eyes. >:-)
