Such lovely light in this Maggie and the green is so beautiful and natural,I feel like I can almost step right in.Your composition, with the bicyclist in the distance is really wonderful.I like that it's off to the side like that! What a great place to have near your home.I'm soooo envious. Love this series!-M :)

Oh my, what a magnificent image and such a stupendious tree - it must a century or more older! Superb!

Thank you so much! :-) It is a really HUGE tree and it was a bit difficult to try to take a picture of it to get that across so I'm so glad it seems to have worked. :-)

Beautiful maggie! Wonderful shot! Lovely area you live in :) Hugs..

This is very beautiful! That tree must have been there like...FOREVER... makes us feel a lot more insignificant. We have giant redwoods here, and they make one feel like an ant standing next to them. This is a terrific scene. I love it, and say "excellent" !! :o)

This is beautiful.Great composition and nature and photography.Like it and well done.

A tree... nothing is more beautiful than a tree ! Superb peaceful image ! :~)

Great place for a walk or bikeride :D So much reminds me in your photos and this photo has some similaritys with the river that floats through my hometown, it has a walkway on both sides and looks like a jungle when you look out on the river. This is beautiful Maggie!

OOOOH!!! What a big and beautiful tree!!! That person riding his bike over there, really adds some sense of scale to this one. Impressive!!! But what i love the most about this one is the light. The light that hits those branches and leaves. And of course the color is absolutely amazing!!! You did really good on this one Maggie, really really GOOD!!!! Have a wonderful post-humpday M&M. #:O)

Awesome POV! Well done on an insightful shot!

Great capture of a wonderful light.

A really impressive scene and a beautiful sunny composition, well done!

beautiful light and folage and pathway!! so green and lush lovely!!!

I really like the compo on this one!! That tree is quite impressive, so huge!! A really beautiful and peaceful scene!! Great shot Maggie!

I often have these almost mystical feelings as I walk along the trails to waterfalls. Many of those trail feature charming little bridges or portals under or thru large trees or rock ledges. But my shots never seem to capture the feeling as yours has here. Wonderful work, and thank you.

This wasn't taken in June was it? There's got to be at least 12 meters between you and the biker =) I really like that you caught the biker in this..adds depth and interest..Love the texture of that old tree..Another terrific job young lady =)

What an excellent shot. Your pov is superb... just catching the curve in the road. The greens on that tree are stunning... Lovely place for a walk Mags sis...

Fantastic shot of this giant tree, a landmark that is recognisable! Beautiful capture!
