THE STORY: this takes place after the 1st martian invasion that looked like a total failure as the aliens fell victim to earth deseases. Several of the martain machines that were kept seperate from the original invasion and in a secured envirorment coralled the CDC in Atlanta and set up a multiple force field around it and forced the human scientists to work on a cure for the Matians. Humans fiercely bombarded the place even using nuclear weapons to prevent them from succeeding to no avail. Once they had it, they sent a signal to remaining fleet to come to Earth. They continued their invasion and the rapid conversion of the majority of humanity to a more useful format. After almost a century, the remains of free humans fought to secure some well payed for but small victories. This human who was raised for entertainment and was recently set free to try to trick humans into the open. He rebeled against his masters and led to this machines demise. He has to flee because he knows more machines would be arriving soon to sterilize the area.
