Here's the background image used in my previous pic, Flashback. The Flashback the picture is blurred, for a feel of distance. Here it is in its prime.
I really love the lighting and smoke effects. Very cool.

excellent idea for the lights. nice critter too ;)

nice, but did you not want to blur the lines of the creature through the smoke/steam, especially after making such an effort with the colour effect.
