Very nice work Ruth. What you might consider is to place the sun either to the left or right; and, lower it somewhat to create some shadows on the terrain and water. Also, go into 'render settings'; then, 'options' and lower the 'gamma' setting to about 1.2 (experiment with this). This will richen the colors. Hope you don't mind the suggestions. I like the composition here!

Hmm, that's difficult. It seems to me that your pw needs improovement. The ships and the see mews are looking like matte painting. They have all the same size and the wings have all the same position. the next point is that the horizon is in the middle of the pic, remember the golden section. On the other hand the terrain is a bit piky. Try to render a big picture and make it smaller after that. This will make your surface a bit nicer. I like the water. Keep on doing.
Cool little atmo for this one. With such water & reflection, I wouldn't even imagine the rendering time!
