Description
Same yong trainee hawk as the last shot but this time in flight. Kept on a 'wire' as the hawk was still being trained to hunt so it was fairly close for the shot. Only down side was the weather which was overcast at this point so I had to drop to 1/500th which doesn't do any bird in flight justice.
Thanks for viewing.

Dunno, the soft light looks good tho - very fine shot to my eye.
i agree. get the shot and catch the moment. life is a blur anyway....
Excellent shot..sometimes the softer light leads to different effects and moods.
a wonderful photo... I've never been able to freeze action like this. I think it's most lovely.
Very nice!!!! Wow, i have a hard enough job capturing a bird sitting still, LOL. This is impressive indeed. And what a beautiful bird it is. Have a great day #:O)
Awesome capture here, it cant be easy to capture one of these in flight !!! Superb !! :o)
Not easy to capture it perfectly, and flash won't work on those distances so only fast films can help a bit. Gorgeous capture!
WOW, awesome capture! super image!!!
