Description
This is for Tedz. Critics may tell me what it means..I sure don't know, don't say. My wife says it weird "but like me"; the cats just look and walk off. ;)
For this one I slip slide from safer "photography" and into more postwork than I am comfortable with knowing how to do well. Anyway...we shall see.

You blow me away with this one, Tom! W O W!!!!!! What a POWERFUL image!!! Superb photography, outstanding composition, and this image is one that is evocative. I'd call this one a masterpiece, Tom. I'm just in awe looking at it! i love to see images of people, and when there is much focus on their hands, that, to me, is one of the most powerful ways you can add to the portrait because hands tell so much about a person's character and their life. Here i feel intense desperation. that man looks like he's trying to connect with someone who has passed away. i think he's grieving. i'm reminded of a wailing wall. he wants so desperately to connect with his loved one...to see them again...to feel them...perhaps even to join them. the postwork makes me think that he is almost going a bit insane...thinking he can reach thru that wall and become a part of another realm. Anyway, the postwork is magnificent...so much so that i don't even wanna see the original. This is just PERFECT the way it is, Tom!!!!! Helluva job! A++++
Wow!! Now this is an awesome creation!! I love it when people can create like this and get everyone thinking! A true piece of art. :-) My first impression was that it is his own eye as he looks back at himself when he was carefree and able to go fishing. hehe See..he has a fishing hat on? But now, sadly, he has let his life build a wall around his more "fun" self which is still crying to be set free. sigh The good news is the wall is not complete; there is an opening and he's reaching to get through it...it's not too late!! ;-) Bravo and I love what Sheila and Ted see in it too! Big V and an amazing dedi!! :-)
