Description
A slight drift from the temple.
This caught my attention today and I am not posting it as a feather on my cap sort of thing.... Infact I am a bit upset.
This cloud that you see which is covering the sun..., at one point of time was exactly on top of the building ( in a diff shape ofcouse) covering the sun and as I drove it seemed like it was acting as an umbrealla over it.
I stoped my vehicle and wanted to take pics but the security guard around the building wouldnt let me into the complex without a valid reason. I showed them my cam and that was even a bigger NO NO.
So, I moved back and took the nearest point possible where the stupid guards had no jurisdiction and took few shots. As you can see, the cloud had moved away. It was no longer the umbrealla looking cloud sheilding the building. Nor could I capture the beautiful building full of mirror glass.
Nevertheless... I wanted to share this with you all cause I wanted to share the story.

The pov you chose still makes a striking image, but I liked your story. It stuck a chord, as I'm sure it does with all of us who carry a camera around, eyes open. So many times I've seen an image, but couldn't find a place to park, and then it was gone. Still, the amazing things I've seen will remain in memory, and I have that at least. Perhaps that cloud has a silver lining. :)

Still an amazing photo from this POV! There have been many times when I've seen a great opportunity for a capture but due to various reasons haven't been able to get it. I think that's one of the challenges and joys of photography ... win some loose some. In your case you still won :)
