Description
This bit of a stone hill is located about 2 miles more or less directly in front of my house - I finally got around to getting over there after about 10 months :-) Don't want to be in too much of a hurry you know :-)

Great shot and a beautiful and quite place ! We often go far away to shot when we've got near where we lived some incredible places ;o)))
Never cease to be fascinated by nature, the skies, the rocks, the plants, anything! :) Fantastic work!
It looks like the monsoons have arrived on schedule. Lot's of thunder and lightening I suspect! Thanks for bringing back the memories of this amazing landscape. A gorgeous photo!
Rocks make such an interesting subject, for very much like people, no two are exactly alike. Love how well this photo shows the facets and erosion. The rock itself has an aura of very ancient wisdom about it. Fabulous, stormy sky...another wonder you've shared with us. VOTE
This image is superb! From true vacancy of dream! H I liked your last message! Then! if you want to fly away For your next voyage. I have a celestial bird for your next Voyage. It is in first line on my gallery!:-))))

real cool pov here . where I live there no rocks or catus. now for the rocks I be breaking them open to see what they look like on the inside
A very nice piece of rock against wonderful clouds. Looks like a bit of rain would be most welcome here. Everything looks scorched, with subdued colors on the vegetation. Excellent capture!
guess what hubby brought home today for me? a rock! big one too but not this big :] & you got some fine cactii there too....
LOL Don't want to be in too much of a hurry? hehehe This is such a very interesting and beautiful portrait of your home sweet home! :-) It is so very different from mine but still has that same moody sky. ;-) I love seeing new places! Excellent selective coloring and VOTE
Love what you did with the sky! You guys have monsoons, which I remember very well as a kid, visiting my aunt and uncle in lake Havasue. Up here in the Sierras they are just plain old Thunder storms! either way it is awesome!
