Needing to stock up on their dewindling water suplies, a pair of Mars exploration vehicles head for an impact crater located on Vastitas Borealis, a broad plain that covers much of Mars's far northern latitudes, at approximately 70.5

I'm not totally happy with this image. The vehicles are way out of scale and there's a dusty sky but no haze effect. Will be reposting an amended version later on today. Please return and tell me what you think. Thanks!
Hmm, yeah this one just sort of sits there. I like the overall concept but except for the info you gave in your write up I am not making the connection with the picture.
The news article of finding water ice on the surface is one of the most exciting bits of Mars info since the beginning of Mars exploration. :-). I applaud your effort to present the discovery pictorially. I was impressed that the temp was only -60 degrees F. Certainly within range of mans ability to insulate and operate. Lets ask the drivers to tow my trailer house over there. My trailer, water and an outhouse ... life can be great! LMAO.
Great idea and information. I'd like a little more terrain definition for interest but you got a great image going on. Can't wait to see the repost :)
