Description
This month's PC render challenge is a Fake Romance Novel cover. Here's the full-sized version of mine. Credits: M3, Wizard Robe, Arizona Hair & textures are by Daz. Background by Saiyan. The skull thingie is one of Kel's PSP tubes, as is the Blood Gem -- hey, he's a vampire! -- and the snake came from 3dsk. Demon is Corel Clip art. Postworked to hell & back, as usual. So maybe it's not "pure 3d", big deal. ;-)

Whoa! I love this! And that sorceror reminds me of someone... It's great! and very book cover-ish :oD
Great atmosphere and expression! Excellent work!
Very nice, Byrdie! Love how you have all kinds of stuff going on in the background, and yet it doesn't make the image too cluttered. And hey, I almost never do a "pure 3d" render--you use whatever tools you need to get the end result you're looking for. :-)
real great gothic scene with excellent character, pose and atmosphere
