Crathes Castle Garden
Hey everyone!Guess what?!It's time for another Scotland pic!Aren't you thrilled?????LOL!!!!
This is another view of the garden at Crathes castle. The sun had just come out and it could not have looked any prettier!It is honestly one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen.I tried to do it justice by showing the size and dimension of it in this shot.I took a bunch like this at different settings and this is the 'warmest' of the them.Unfortunately,the sky became nonexistent!So I had to do a little,ahem, 'doctoring'.As you already know,(because I've said it a dozen times,lol),I have no idea what I'm doing!!!And I totally can't be objective about what I've done here,because I worked on it waaaaay too long...and now it nauseates me!!!
Oh well.It is what it is.I'm know there are so many of you that could have done a waaaay better job of it than I,but I simply can't look at it anymore.Sigh...
That said,I still have hope that YOU will like it.I did,at least the first few hundred times I looked at it!LOL!

Wow, this is gorgeous! Like the old time flowerbeds our grandmothers had. Such a nice pov too, the path leading the eye to the castle and upward to the cottony sky. Beautiful!

Marlene...This is so well composed. This just looks like being there. This is from a painters eye.....and This has to be one of the very best garden shots I have seen.The time of day seems perfect. The right amount of shadows. The path leading up is shown just enough.Kind of like a place only one can dream about.Leading up to the castle in such nice colour.The sky even lends to the picture and all blue sky would have taken away from it.
