Description

The CSS Challenger Acendant is the flagship of the Galactic Human Commonwealth. The original Challenger was destroyed in an Altha-Krommium artifact mishap. The Challenger Acendant is a replacement battleship found by the Hulutu Ambassador, "The Measure". The ship is a kilometer long and is almost 90 decks thick, at its thickest part. Massing almost 9 million metric tonnes, and made long ago by the human forebears, it can stand up to most of what the five galaxies can hurl at it. The front third can split open to reveal its awesome Hypercannon weapon. It was originally called, "The Victorious", but that was deemed to agressive for Galatic Diplomacy missions, so it was renamed to reflect the lost ship and be more polically correct. In this shot, it overflies the desert world, Alka'aribbif, searching for a downed shuttle. Media is Vue 4. This was my first attempt to construct ANYTHING in 3D renders. I hope you like it!
