Description
If I could live life over again
I would learn to relax and laugh more
And not allow cancer cells to form in me
I would burn my many scented candles
Not put them away for some other day
I would wave and say hi more to people
Improve my listening and writing skills
Invite friends over more often
Even if my carpet has stains
And the dishes in the sink are dirty~
I would cry more during a sad movie
And enjoy things more while watching life
I would buy less material things
And embrace things money can't buy
I would say less
" I am sorry and " I love you more"
Most of all, given another chance at life
I would live every moment to the fullest
And view the world with wide open eyes
And travel life's pathway God created
Allow the past to stay in the past
Savor each day with love and kindness
Just live one day at a time~
The months change with the season
they wither away and then renew each spring
And once again
The Circle of Life
Becomes whole once again~

Keep your fiath and thinking of you in my prayers!! Hugz
Such wonderful thoughts and so well done! I've always tried my best to go by the idea that everything I had could be gone some day. Possessions, money, health. Much of that has come true. I've also always believed that no one can ever take away your dignity and self respect -- except you. May your journey be a far less bumpy one soon. My best kind soul. TallPockets.
Love you sis! We will be winers! God is with us! Excellent!*****!
we all could heed your advice with or without terrible thing like cancer staring us in the face. Life is too short to not enjoy and be kind always.
Blush: This book, "God's Pharmacy" has helped many millions of people for over 1500 years. Everything in the book works exactly like it says it does. I know because I Have used it and on my mom and sister. It says on the back of the book that there is a a Plant for every disease. Perhaps this will help where others have failed. My love and concern from my soul to your soul. Oh, sister on the Spiritual Path!! My very best to you always, Lightpen!!
Susan, I find it so strange that your writing has had more views than your lovely images. I suppose it is because you express what we all feel so eloquently. If I could write, you say the things I would say. I love you sweetie. I am still praying, and I know God hears.
Very poignant and beautiful. I hope all is well with you today :)
Another cancer survivor here. I hope that you are doing better and that the things worked out for you. And the poem is very true. Thanks for stopping by at my gallery and I'm glad you liked my drawing :)
Thank-you for this though, to help some of people with our illnesses. It is great. V---- Gary
from one susan to another what a wonderful outlook on life to have i try to do that each and everyday day thank you for the inspiration
This is wonderful, my friend! Each line an inspiration, beautifully phrased to go straight to the reader's heart. I love the part about the stained carpet and dirty dishes. We worry so over trivial things as our life slips by. Beautiful poem! I pray for you to be well and pain free.
