I do think I have some more good ones like this to share.
As for his pose I took the liberty of thinking he's longing for a lady friend but then again maybe he's trying to figure out how to best implement his escape plan.$$$$

Gets my vote! Love the lighting colors and the intimate POV. Feel i know a lot more about lions after seeing this. Can't see anything to criticise, maybe crop some off the left - no new info there, just repetition, could be 1/2 the width and still give him some space to look into, i think.
