Description
In a previous post "Unsolved Mysteries" , I noticed a dual metal peg in that post similiar to this peg that holds this long pipe (top photo). Seems like the pole was anchored upwards and used to hold up a long wire antenna. Looking from the other end of this pole (bottom picture), there is another pole (unseen) at the other end of this crater.
My Opinion.............What's Yours?
Aloha and thank you for viewing

Just one of those things you would only find out by whoever put it there. Like that top one. Almost as if that is smoke coming out from pipe.
Wow, really nice red colors here. You really did a lot of walking...Aloha
was this over a volcano? If so it could have hold some type of sceince stuff. Looks cool to me this photo
Very curious stuff here sharky, looks like some sort of water pipe, for what??? who knows??? We'll probably never know!!!! excellent image!!!!
At a guess and taken with the previous bits and pieces, the radio aerial idea would seem about right. To transmit physical or chemical seismic data from instruments on the volcano to a remote recording or laboratory site. Check with your local university. georgeclarke
Don't really know what to make of this...have to have a closer look...but does look like it was once functional...Nice Shots...Aloha~
scientific for sure... but could also be aliens!! :] aloha!

'The anntenna has gone down and the contact with the homeplanet is bad! There's now an earthling walking around with a device, what should we do, THC!?' LOL! Fantastic work, Errol, you find alien thingies here!
strange finds you captured! could be a pipeline to look through and watch the enemies and if there are some one can spit down on them! LOL
Hehe...Errol said "erected"... #:oP I certainly hold no opinion on that, LOL. Love that top one with the fog/clouds behind it. Have a great sunday #:O)

two verrrry cool pictures!!!!! uh....i think they're some kind of alien weapons!!!!!! surprised TEdz didn't know that! :)
great find and capture ! great shot ... curious stuff!
Can't imagine why anyone would build a large wire antenna close to the ground in this location, since the only use of it (afaik) would be to pick up ... radio! (And I mean earth based radio transmissions - radio telescopes are used for astronomy). Could there possibly have been a larger structure there, which was anchored at these points? Strange... Nice photos!
Really strange... but gorgeously captured!
Very odd and interesting! Thanks for sharing.
I told you, some sort of scientific equipment! Why does no-one ever listen to me... ;] Seriously, it was fun trying to solve this little mystery with you. Let me know if you ever find out for sure.
The mystery continues to deepen!
I would concur with georgeclarke, as he seems to be on to something with his line of reasoning!
i missed this one!IMPORTANT!!
Nice composition ! (but I have no explanation...) :~)
