Description
An interesting reminder of the industrial past. Not sure what the old building was, but it's right on a river (Savage Creek) and this is Savage Mill... a wild guess has this as once being the housing for a mill wheel.
In front of it is a railway spur with a winch on it. Judging from the supports, my guess is the winch pulled the cars up the spur to avoid having to deal with the weight of an engine.
Glare on this window was just all bejeebers awful. Got it down to where most of it is gone. Tried several shots from different angles and no joy.
Hmmmmm. Still something interesting out of the frame and on the left... let's look.
