~HOMEWORK #2~
Who ever said "You Can't Hit the Broad Side of a Barn" probably never thought about shooting it with a camera. My assignment was to "shoot" the south side of a building at different times of the day.
This was the most exciting wall I could find...
The reason for the assignment was to prove how the angle of the sun affects the outcome of the photo in many ways. We also discussed daylight color and Kelvin temperatures. Woohoo exciting...lol
Thanks for glimpsing!

a wonderful demonstration how light works. i like the detail you found. there is a story in it. excellent job,Jodie. * hugz * #:O)
yes monet was facinated with the angle of the sun and how it changes the compo he would sit all day and paint over and over....the same subject matter !! awesome shots .. i love the 10 am the most!!
Very nice assignment - and an eye opener. The difference in colors and detail is interesting, and the first a good demonstration of how the colors of the environment (green grass, blue sky)are reflected from surfaces. An interesting choice of subjects, too. Nothing beats an old barn for textures and (most often) decay. Excellent!
Clearly the late day shadows make for a more attractive image.A wonderful exercise tho in showing the effect of the time of day on your shot.I'm guessing this is photo 101 because this is really obvious stuff and surely you are way beyond these basics.I had to take a similar class. Are you doing this digitally?Mine was film only and we developed as well...
Well, good idea this assignment ! So well realized ! Excellent job, Jodie ! :~)
