I must have looked almost terrified as I paid the tab. The old barkeep smirked as he took my coin. "If I didn't know better I say that rascal Helvard paid you a visit. He shows up every year about this time."

"Helvard?"

"Our resident Ghost."

"Ghost?"

"Aye, not to worry. he just wants a taste of the brew. We even keep a bit of Grog just for him. He spins a great tale doesn't he?"

Now I was really spooked. As quaint as that "grog" shop was with all the old flavor of medieval Norway there was nothing that would inspire me to return for a repeat visit. . .   Ever!
