"Halloween In Texas"  Although most people don't think of Texas as a coastal state, it definitely is.  The beautiful Galvez Hotel in Galveston looks out over the Gulf of Mexico, which brings huge hurricanes into the shore on occasion.  One of those storms led to the legend of the hotel being haunted, and there are ghost tours available around Halloween.  You can even stay in room 501 ... if you dare.
