Here's the ultimate stocking stuffer, Father Christmas himself, the Lord of Misrule, exhorting one and all to eat, drink and be merry.

I created this collage in photoshop by cutting out the central figure from a vintage Christmas card image. I layered this onto the wooded moonlit background, and added smoke and a borealis effect onto two more layers. I copied the main figure and added a glow around the top one, deleting it from the lower part to give the impression of moonlight falling from above. I played around with the size, opacity and fill colours of the cloud and borealis, and once I was happy with them I cropped the completed image into a pleasing composition. It took around 5 hours solid work. I used Photoshop and Filter Forge.
