Something wicked this way comes... "Who calls me?" Its voice is a sibilant hiss sliding through the rustle of dead and dying leaves; it is a whisper heavy with the weight of endings riding on raven wings to rest among the cemetery stones. In the darkness somewhere, a smile. A flash of jagged teeth in satisfaction and cold amusement as she whispers, "It is I who call. With bone and root I call. With darkness and fire I call. With pain and blood I call... and you have come. Let the world around us shudder its fear." Image done in Poser 9, rendered in several pieces and assembled in photoshop. This took several days to complete from initial concept to final draft, several days to render (my computer is on the edge of declaring full-out war) and then another day to assemble and add some mist effects. My inspiration came from an image by DesignsbyEve here on Renderosity; it was a voodoo type spell casting scene called in fact "Something Wicked." When I saw this years theme that image came to mind but I wanted to take the voodoo idea and amp it up to make it feel a bit more fantastical.
