Something Wicked: Please enlarge to see the full detail! When considering this theme the thing that stuck with me was an image of the classic Wicked Queen. Possessing a majestic, twisted type of beauty - the dark and fantastic tale of her unrelenting narcissism and capacity for evil is the perfect embodiment of wicked. I wanted to stick to a classic and recognizable character while staying true to my detailed style of picture storytelling. The image was rendered in Poser 9, while the magical effects and some environmental details were added with many layers of postwork in Photoshop CS2. This piece was completed during whatever time I could snatch over the course of a week and a half, while simultaneously defending the computer from the artistic contribution of toddler fingers.
