Software: Photoshop CS5 and a composite of 3 photographs I have taken in Maine and Rhode Island. It took about a dozen hours to create the image, not counting time well-spent wandering the shoreline. Inspiration: All the stories of Ghost ships from the Mary Celeste to Dracula to the Bermuda Triangle to Pirates of the Caribbean. If ye are out on the shore late a'night and ye spy a ship sailing against the wind and tides, ye better get indoors lest ye be drafted to join the crew o' the damned!
