Bump in the Night What was that? There it is again, a definite bump in the night. Startled, Cindy clicked on the lamp almost knocking her fashion doll off of the table. She grabbed her flashlight, a compromise between a young lady’s fears and a lower electricity bill. She outgrew the need to keep her windows shut at night, to keep the dark air out, years ago when she started school but after tonight the lights stay on. Stranded and alone, Grish found shelter and warmth under Cindy’s bed. Perhaps there is food around these boxes. Hop, oops. Grish forgot about the low clearance. Bump, oops again. He waited for the dizziness to subside before getting up. Time to leave; too late; freeze it’s a bright light. My inspiration for this piece came from a spark of an idea about monsters under the bed and my desire to use the Alexis for Dawn character. I spent 8-9 hours on this render getting everything “just rightâ€. I wanted posters on the wall because most young teens have them. This took some time to figure out. I also wanted some clutter under the bed along with the Gobble. After some mathematical ciphering, Dawn shrank from 70 inches to 11.5 inches a common fashion doll size (scale 16.4%).
