This is my entry for the 'Magical Holiday' contest. My Inspiration: To me the holidays are as much about everything else surrounding it than the day or time itself. And of course the winter is part of it all. I remember as a child always hoping for a white Christmas, and I guess to this date I still do... so in this picture I wanted to show a snow angel, but a bit different. As to me, the snow is what makes the holiday season magical. Of course being in the UK, also means that snow often equals chaos (nothing to do with how badly we are organized here... yeah right), but anyone looking outside their window on a day where they don't have to go out, and seeing the beauty nature created by decking the ground and trees etc with snow... should surly be able to see that we live in a magical world. This image took me about a week, give or take a day, as I custom morphed and textured the character for this competition. I've used PP2012 to render and PS for some postwork.
