The classic story of King Arthur is the archetype for the theme "unhappily ever after". Rendered in Poser with postwork in Photoshop. Total elapsed time to create was about 3 days; I like to create an initial render and then come back a few hours or days later for a fresh perspective. The story of King Arthur was itself the inspiration for the render... the Disney version captured my imagination in childhood and then the true, darker tale in following years.
