"Anniversary" I must get to the church! I can't be late. I'm getting married today. We were almost there when we crashed. I'll just have to walk the rest of the way... That's odd. The church doesn't look like I remember it. Am I lost? Where is everyone? I didn't even know this old graveyard was here. It must be a hundred years old. That's strange... Oh, dear heaven. That's my name. And my date of birth. And my...wedding day? This image was inspired by the "ghost bride" stories told all over the world, but especially here in the northeastern US. There are many different versions, but typically, a beautiful young girl is killed in a crash (car or carriage, depending on the time frame) on the way to her wedding. Thereafter, she is seen in her long white dress on the side of the road, sometimes hurrying toward the church, sometimes hitchhiking. Of course, if you pick her up and take her to the church as she asks, she vanishes when you get there. It took me three weeks, with a lot of the time spent futzing around with the dynamic cloth settings. I used Poser 9 and Poser Pro 2012. I haven't upgraded my copy of Poser 9 to SR3 yet, so I used it to apply some wind force to the veil, then did the final render in Poser Pro 2012. Postwork with Photoshop.
