3D Halloween Contest 2012: "Unhappily Ever After"

My take on the classic "American Gothic" painting by Grant Wood. I don't know why, but the two people in the original image seemed to fit the very definition of "unhappily ever after" and this is my "Halloween-ish" take on them. Rendered in Poser 8 and postworked in Photoshop. All total, about 5 hours of production time.
